The Samurai Enlighten Mushin Karate Academy (S.E.M.K.A.) is proudly affiliated with the following governing bodies of Wado Karate:

- European Wado Federation (E.W.F.)
- International Wado Federation (I.W.F.)
British Wado Federation (B.W.F.)
The British Wado Federation is officially recognised by both the European Wado Federation and the International Wado Federation as the sole National Governing Body for Traditional and Autonomous Wado Karate Clubs and Groups within the United Kingdom. It serves as the official authority for British Wado Karate under the European and International Wado Federations.
European Wado Federation (E.W.F.)
The European Wado Federation is the only recognised Continental Governing Body for Wado Karate under the International Wado Federation. It acts as a unifying body for all autonomous and independent Wado Karate Schools, Groups, and Associations across Europe.
The E.W.F. supports and acknowledges all traditional forms of Wado, including Wado Ryu, Wadoryu, and Wadokai, promoting unity among Wado practitioners regardless of their other national or global affiliations. In collaboration with the I.W.F., it works to foster greater harmony and cooperation among Wado organisations throughout Europe and beyond.
International Wado Federation (I.W.F.)
Established in 1982, the International Wado Federation is a global union that brings together individual, autonomous, and independent Wado Karate Clubs, Schools, Groups, and Associations from around the world. It is the only international body of its kind dedicated solely to supporting and promoting the principles, values, and traditions of Wado Karate on a worldwide scale.
